From Johannesburg to Soweto, Stanford to Cape Town and Hermanus, our staff and partners have joined hands to nurture education, sustainability, and community growth.
Riverlea Primary School – Johannesburg

Our journey began at Riverlea Primary School, where ten trees were planted to create greener learning spaces for students. Through this initiative, we’re combining our Paperless Project with environmental action, offsetting our carbon footprint while inspiring young minds.

At ASHA Mpumelelo Pre-School, we focused on fostering early education in a healthier environment. Every tree planted represents a commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders while promoting environmental sustainability.
Die Bron Primary School – Stanford

Die Bron Primary School, established in 1939 as the St Thomas Mission School, celebrated over 80 years of educating the community. Under the guidance of Principal Lionel Pedro, twelve trees were planted to support both education and sustainability, giving students a greener space in which to learn and grow.

Our Cape Town office continued the Arbor Month journey, planting trees to improve learning environments and outdoor spaces for children of all ages. These plantings strengthen our focus on education and environmental responsibility, one tree at a time.

Our Hermanus office rounded off Arbor Month with a powerful contribution - planting 20 trees at The Pebbles Hemel-en-Aarde Education Project. This project is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and their families through education, nutrition, and health support. With every tree, we’re helping create a future where lives are changed for the better.

Across five communities and schools in South Africa, the Snymans Caterpillar Foundation and Snymans Inc proudly planted a total of 52 trees this Arbor Month. Each tree is more than just roots and leaves - it’s a symbol of growth, sustainability, and hope for the future. Together, we are building stronger communities, empowering learners, and making sure the environment thrives for generations to come.
