October has always been a month of compassion, courage and community, and this year was no different. As part of our 30-for-30 initiative, the Snymans Caterpillar Foundation rallied behind Breast Cancer Awareness Month with energy and heart.
Every Friday, our teams dressed in shades of pink to honour the women fighting breast cancer and to show solidarity with the families and survivors who inspire us. The colour brought a sense of unity across our offices, but the real impact came from what we collected together.
Supporting Project Flamingo
This month, we partnered with Project Flamingo, an organisation known for their “Pamper Packs” that offer much-needed comfort to women undergoing treatment. These small packs carry everyday essentials, but they mean so much more. They offer dignity, warmth and a reminder that someone is thinking of them during one of the toughest moments of their lives.
Thanks to the generosity of our staff, clients and partners, we collected:
• 172 Dove soaps
• 88 Bramley Tissue Oils
These items will go directly into Project Flamingo’s Pamper Packs, reaching women who need care and encouragement while in hospital. Each donation, no matter the size, played a part in lifting someone’s spirits.
A Month of Heart
October reminded us why community action matters. The conversations sparked, the awareness raised and the kindness shared all contributed to something meaningful. To everyone who donated or helped spread the word, thank you for helping us bring hope and comfort where it's needed most.
As we continue our 30-for-30 journey, we’re proud to keep supporting initiatives that touch lives in real and practical ways. Here’s to carrying this spirit into the rest of the year and beyond.
