The Snymans Caterpillar Foundation, proudly supported by Snymans, is launching the Fuelling Futures: Fill My Tummy Breakfast Drive to help children start their day with the nourishment they need to learn and grow.

Over the years, the Foundation has supported communities through practical initiatives such as tree planting at Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres, stationery drives, and assistance to schools and places of safety. These initiatives help create better learning environments for children.

This year, the Foundation is focusing on something even more fundamental: breakfast.

Why breakfast matters

A nutritious breakfast helps children concentrate in class, improves attendance, and supports emotional and physical well-being. Without it, learning becomes much harder.

Simply put, you cannot teach a hungry child.

Through the Fill My Tummy Breakfast Drive, the Foundation aims to help provide breakfast to children attending ECD centres and places of safety that it already supports.

How the breakfast drive works

From February to July 2026, the Snymans Caterpillar Foundation will collect breakfast items at Snymans offices.

We invite our colleagues, clients, and community members to donate any of the following:

• Oats
• Pronutro
• Weet-Bix
• Corn Flakes
• Instant maize porridge
• Powdered milk

Look out for the Fill My Tummy collection boxes at Snymans offices.

Supporting the drive is simple. Drop off a breakfast item at any Snymans office and help ensure that more children start their day with a full tummy.
