In April, our 30-for-30 campaign brought Snymans Inc together across provinces with a shared mission — to provide love, care, and critical supplies to animal shelters making a difference in their communities.
💛 Gauteng: Blankets, Braais, and Big Hearts
The response from our Gauteng offices was nothing short of phenomenal. Spearheaded by Candis Swanepoel from our Ruimsig office, a massive blanket-making project turned her home into a warm and fuzzy production line. With the help of friends, family, and colleagues from across Gauteng, 48 handmade blankets were crafted—each lovingly cut and knotted during get-togethers and braais planned around stacks of fleece.
Thanks to this beautiful effort, we were able to deliver a large donation of food and blankets to 4Paws Animal Shelter, a Diepsloot-based NPO working to improve the quality of life for underprivileged animals.
Meanwhile, our Bryanston team kept the momentum going with a second delivery to PAWS R US (SA), an organisation focused on the rescue, safe haven, and rehoming of dogs in Gauteng.
🧡 Western Cape: Wags, Whiskers, and Warming Hearts
Across the country, our Western Cape teams showed just as much love. Each office chose a local animal welfare organisation to support, ensuring that help reached animals in need throughout the province:
- Swellendam brought food and blankets to the SPCA Swellendam, ensuring comfort and care for their furry residents.
- Hermanus made their delivery to HAWS (Hermanus Animal Welfare Society), furthering our commitment to compassionate community engagement.
- Cape Town gave back to Fallen Angels, an incredible organisation that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abused and abandoned animals.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Rodel Bridging for their generous contributions. - And our own Irma and Kayleen paid a visit to TEARS Animal Rescue in Sunnydale, Cape Town — delivering food and spending time with animals waiting for a second chance.
A warm thank-you to GetGo for donating much-needed food supplies.
🐶 From Snymans, With Love
From the Gauteng “blanket factory” to the Western Cape’s paws-on-the-ground deliveries, April’s campaign reminded us of the power of compassion in action. Though we may not be able to adopt every furry friend we met, our hearts are full knowing we’ve helped provide comfort, nourishment, and a bit of joy.
Please take a moment to meet a few of the precious animals we connected with in the photos below. You never know — one of them might just be your new best friend. ❤️
